Welcome to the 2nd annual teamsters against cancer bike adventure!!!

We will begin this adventure on June 3, 2010 from the Teamsters Local 82 in South Boston. The goal is the same: visit the New England locals, spread the word, and raise the funds. We do have some new events planned for this year.  

First, come join us as we again conquer the Kancamagas Highway. The Kancamagas Challenge is 44 miles of ups and downs, test your determination and your courage, not to mention your legs.  Enjoy the company of others, and treats at the end.  So if you can’t join us for the whole trip, come for the day. A day for you staunch bikers!

Second, become a member of the Brockton Police posse and ride a meager 25 miles beginning and ending from Local 653.  This day is dedicated to families and anyone who likes to ride but is unable to participate in the Challenge. 

So, dust off your bike, line up your sponsors, and stretch those muscles. The Teamsters are on the road again.  

For those of you who may be interested in knowing that our friend, Bob Morrissey, is doing great and he will again be riding different parts of the ride. As always, we wish him and his family nothing but the best.

We challenge each of you to donate $10.00 (about the cost of breakfast at your favorite diner.) A gesture like this will raise significant funds to start this research project.
